(Resigned look…………) 11 men chasing one ball...how? i mean how?

Ladies kindly close your mind wai. Let us find some books to read or better still some activity to us because Ababiom! Yep... EPL has started. EPL is madness it is not football…true. You see grown men dancing because of Manchester United, Manchester City or Chelsea, you see young men refusing to pick their cell phones and most of the time intentionally fighting with you before and during the match only to reconcile after. Please Patrick does not do that ooo before you get funny ideas. He patiently told me my stand as regards football. ( Smh) Wharris dat? Tell me if that is not madness!!! But why is every body trying to dey Van Persie’s top. Please I thought it’s about money and winning titles if where he is, he is making neither, is he not allowed to move? (Laughs) Or I do not understand these things. Anyways in my home, I have let go of the remote control. I know that my reign as Queen B has ended. Ohhhh thoughts I have had to break the remote control, disconnect the DSTV or even pray to ECG to do their worst (heheeehe) but I guess some things are really for men only.

But errrrrrrrr asem bisa ooo……Don’t we have a premier league in Ghana. What is wrong with our premier league apart from the abysmal turfs they play on?. Ohhhh I love the originality of the names on the teams but they are hilarious what is Berekum Chelsea, Aduana Stars, Wassaman United, Ash Gold, Kpando Heart of Lions etc… don’t mind me, I am just used to the brofolised names. I want to ask you yes you reading this especially if you reside in Ghana why don’t you go to the stadiums and watch the local matches? It is very sad to see how empty the stands are. You don’t have time or you do not want to be seen going to the stadium in support of Narnia FC? We must begin to fill our stadium that is the only way to make the local league look interesting. We should also turn our local players into heroes by wearing their jerseys or it is yawa to be seen wearing Don Bortey’s Jersey (mdfskkkk).Ah but if you do not wear it then who should come and wear it for you.

As for the Ghana Football Association…my big mouth does not want to go there yet. But it intrigues me that all the radio sports journalists say there is a mafia there whose actions and inactions do not support our game.  Mafia paa? Eiii and as for the sports journos especially the ones on radio?!  Mesuro po. There is this programme on Asempa Fm; the show is called Fire for Fire eiii the furno is not easy at all. Well I know I never really  understood all the brouhaha that surrounded sponsorships. Too murky! And what is with GFA and their seeming support for only the Black Stars. Seriously I love my black stars but come on they are very good in breaking hearts… (A flash of Asamoah Gyan yes oo my one and only).  Errrrrrrrr was it not recently that the Black Queens had to break camp because they did not have enough food in camp. Did they go back? And what were they training for? What about the Black Princesses? Where are they?

  Oh my we do have a problem with football don’t we? And to think we have not won a cup in over three decades ie the Black Stars….well we will make it @ 50 and do some crazy one week party?! Eno ensoso enye bad koraa wonhu saa. But I am happy that at least we get to have a Ghanaian coach( yippee) enough of the Milovan and Otto Pfisters, huge money meanwhile. As usual all I do is to ask questions that I wish I had answers too. Lets discuss this what do you think?
