Hi Everybody,

My name is Amma NaaBia Boachie- Danquah. And errrrr I am nervous. Very nervous. I finally have a Blog (covering my eyes) and frankly do not know what to do with it. haha. Well the blog idea came about because of my amazing friends on facebook. I usually update my everyday ideas and thoughts up there and kaboom I get hits. At first I thought it was all for nothing but I realised people actually enjoyed what i put up there.  It is so humbling that people actually subscribe to my posts. Still trying to wrap my head around that one. :)......

 There was this time i walked in one of my fav' nail studios in Osu and before i knew it two ladies started telling how i made their day with my posts. So so hilarious. But seriously my father is the cracker, you should watch tv with him. I learnt all the tricks from him. 60 plus years he actually warms up yes jogging and all before a Black Stars match. One time he actually danced agbaza because Asamoah Gyan scored.......haha

But really I am just an everyday girl or is it woman, I am 27 year old Ghanaian born in October,a bit of Dormaa blood and a bit of Peki blood. I am blessed with an amazing 4 year old boy Kwadwo and an amazing soul mate Patrick. My name NaaBia is Ga- I was named after my God mother. Prof Miranda NaaBia Greenstreet. ( she is my own Queen Elizabeth, I will share some interesting pieces about her soon).

As i start this blog, I really do not know what to expect.... i am just going to be myself, take you through the journey of my life as i see it through religion, music, food, books, work, fashion, celebrity(cough), politics and best of all as life as a young working mother and soon to be wife.
I will like to thank my good friend Ofori Danso for making that call Ofori i owe you one, to Patrick my heart beat for understanding all my craziness on facebook and all the friends online (you are now my fam) who have taken the time to read my posts, laugh, cry, get angry, draw my attention to the implications of my posts, insulted, debated, taken me out of context, sent inbox messages. I have met amazing people there Andy, Nuerki, Akua Seiwaa, Dorcas, Bright, Ace, ....if i dont mention your name forgive me ooo wai. But i really appreciate you all...Abena, Stephanie, Philip i see you!
