Nana Addo, Kweku Baako Jnr and Felix Kwakye Fosu.

Then things some.....Nana Addo, Kweku Baako and Felix Kwakye Fosu.

Currently these are my three favorite people. Yes you heard right, sometimes i wonder how these three would interact if they were in a room together. hahaaa.

Well finally Nana Akufo Addo had his turn with the IEA with the expected results. It was worth the wait for me. I didnt cring too much during the question and answer sessions. His speech di333 dont try. Nana is really a show boy when it comes to speech delievery. Errrr when i say expected results, I am not neccessarily talking about his intelligence which is evident( heheheee the Umbrellas will kill me today...), I am talking about the responses from the Umbrellas and the Elephants. Allow me to clarify something. The Umbrella until Mrs Konadu Rawlings decides to take it, is the official symbol of the NDC and the Elephant until we get tired of it is the official symbol of the NPP.

The Elephants will disturb the airwaves with how brilliant his perfomance was whilst the Umbrellas will shake their heads and wonder what in the world we are happy about. It honestly makes political discourse a bit boring in this country. We do not contest ideas we rather focus on the personality to absurd proportions. But still Ghana just dey bi, especially now that we are some 105 days to december 7th( the general elections). This election is really special. But we will sail through, I anticipate a few hotspots here and there but escalating into outrageous violence. Naaaa

Haahaa Ok  there is no use denying it, i am Nana Addo Dankwa biased in an NPP Danquah Busia Dombo kind of way. I believe in Capitalism, an opportunity for everyone to own a business/ a piece of something, develop it and make his/ her little corner brighter. Well with the way the world is going we cannot have or practice true Capitalism anymore especially when the economic gap between rich and poor is very frightening hence social interventions by the state ie a bit Socialism. But all in all i believe people have the right to own something for somethemselves especially if that something is born out of hard work, sweat and sleepless nights. Yep! Or is not that simple :).
But i believe one day our discourse will be issued based in this country.
After all we must kiss frogs before we find the one true prince...No?!

How can I mention Nana Addo and not mention Kweku Baako Jnr. This man humbles me a whole lot. Seriously. How does he do it. How does he always have issues at the tip of his fingers. His memory is amazeballs.Where does he get his documents from. If you ever have the chance to see him on television he goes through papers that have gone yellow at the ends. Records of parliamentary procedings that cannot be found, Kweku Baako has them. Eiii. Sometimes when he speaks it is as if the whole Ghana is listening, hanging onto every word. What further humbles me is most of the things he knows he learnt on his own.

I first saw Kweku Baako when my mother and I joined students at the old N block on the University of Ghana Campus. It was surreal. Just weeks after his office/home had been splashed with human poo (till now nobody has been caught for that disgusting act). He came to address students and the atmosphere was charged. The students wouldnt even let him talk because they wanted to carry him. That it did not matter if you you were TEIN (NDC) or TESCON( NPP), everybody wanted a bit of him. And he begun to talk about his life, his lessons and the way forward...yes that was the year 2000. Ghana was tired of Papa Jay. Mehnnn i still get goosebumps thinking of that night. I wanted to know soo much about that man. I followed him religiously through his public discourse. But the beauty of my "relationship" with Kweku Baako is some days I can fight with his thoughts on issues. I remember this day on Newsfile they were talking about ROPAL (  a law that allows Ghanaians living abrad to vote) and I was soo upset with him....hilarious. But now I can see age catching up with him, he is old now. I always hope and pary that his documents are kept well and that his daughters emulate their father in every way. He is a brilliant person. No two ways and i was glad( infact still am) i donated my lunch money and soap toward his office clean up.

And Felix. hahahaa oh my days. Felix my one and only oil and gas expert. Meanhwhile this is oil and gas i hardly hear him say anything about it too ooo. hmm. Felix Kwakye Fosu belongs to the Umbrellas but he brightens my day anytime i hear him speak. It is not about what he has to say its the way he says it. Very hot patapaa. Whether right or wrong(which is mostly at least from where i stand hahhaaaa) if you allow him he will make you look very stupid. As for him, these days obiara enye obiara when people are running from the likes of Papa Jay and Martin Amidu, Felix has stretched his neck tintiiiiiintin looking for a fight. Ebei o! Infact these days if he is not a part of a panel discussion i tune off when it comes to the turn of the soo called government communication team. Felix is my diss machine. its like you know what he will say but you dont how he is going to say it. Ohh Felix if ever you read this lets have lunch sometime. And friends and  i really find you entertaining. Not in the Bob Okala kind of way tho. But i think its high time young people from different political divides stop the silliness and become friends. Is it not all about Ghana? Why do we behave like pin heads some times....so not necessary.

Well its Thursay already....doesnt the week fly so fast when there is a hoilday:) so when is the next one.

hahahhaaa

See you a bit later

Love

Me.
